I buy delicious coffee that hails out of Raleigh, North Carolina. It's Fair Trade, shade grown, and mostly organic. The company is Larrys Beans and they are using vegetable oil as fuel that "leaves a pleasant french-fry smell behind." See the full article from "The News & Observer" here. There must be some kind of secret motivation, eh?! What are your thoughts?

"Get your killer calendar now" as reported by IOL. This is truly sad! Granted, I enjoy watching crime shows like COLD CASE FILES and other Court TV type re-enactment shows. I watch news coverage of big murder trials. I think this is inside each of us, this morbid curiosity. Humans tend to be looky lous on raods and highways where auto accidents have taken place. I was even enjoying being a voyeur alongside Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly in Hitchcock's "Rear Window". BUT, a calendar displaying a different murderer each month just goes a little too far for me. Have we no shame? i guess not by the sounds of this. How about you? What do you think?

Zarqawi raids uncover new leads at what expense?

"Jordanian-born Zarqawi was said to have been in a meeting with associates at the time. At least five other people were killed in the raid, including spiritual adviser Sheikh Abd-al-Rahman and an unidentified woman and child ."

What the hell is our government doing? INNOCENT WOMEN and CHILDREN killed? For the life of a murderer, terrorist, all around bad guy? Why could not our special forces have covertly gone in and captured them? This seems like unjust warfare to me.

Did he have to die unjustly?

"Militant leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi has been killed, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki has announced." as reported by the BBC . Granted, he was a terrorist accused of killing innocent people and the head of an insurgency wreaking havoc throughout Iraq. Where is the justice in this? Why was he not captured rather than killed? Is he not allowed to have a fair trial like Saddam Hussein? Is this something to help boost President Bush's dismal ratings in the polls? I am against the death penalty as well as being against people who murder. But, we are all supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, especially in a democracy like the United States of America. Our nation is attempting to bring democracy to Iraq, so should not our government and military attempt to capture suspects rather than taking them out? We are no better than the terrorists. Retaliating with violence gets us nowhere, as we can see how we are failing in Iraq. Bush says he is a Christian, so why is he not praying for our enemies instead of ordering them to be killed? I want know part of Bush's Christianity. I'll take Jesus' teachings any day. Hear me out, what these terrorists are doing is wrong, hateful, and misguided. But, Jesus loves them too and calls us to a higher ground. It's hard to apply this but something I am asking God to help me with in my own life. God help me to walk this out - to love my enemies and to pray for them. Forgive me where i have been and am judgmental of them and of President Bush. Show him your will and your heart for these enemies of the world. Lord, comfort the friends and family of Zarqawi during this time of grief and anger. Also, reach out to these men hell-bent on killing innocent people. Oh, but by the GRACE of God i live! Amen

Is This God's Judgment On You, Mr. Robertson?

I wonder if this incident will be considered "divine retribution"? I'm sure Pat Robertson won't touch this with a 10 foot pole! It is sad that people were killed and injured. God, please comfort the families of the two pilots killed and the passengers who were rescued. Comfort Pat Robertson and work in his life for your glory. Amen.
